Guitar so called heros?
Most guitarist have some pretty silly ideas about how to get the sound you want. I have been playing all my life and one thing I learned is amps don't matter anymore maybe in the 70s 80s and 90s. Since computers and micro processors you can sound like EVH or SRV by stepping on a foot switch. See when you look at your favorite guitarist on stage don't look at the Peavy 5150 with the double flight cabs and the 8 12" speakers instead look at the processor rack for that is where the sound really comes from. I bought a zoom G2.1u hooks to computer and has enough settings where I can mirror. Little wing by jimmy or by Stevie and it sounds perfect for 200 bucks I can record or plug it into any amp and sound like Eric Clapton and just so you know I'm plugging into a 70s console stereo that's right a 70s magnavox receiver. Trust me go to a music store pick the cheapest amp and try a decent processor pedal and forget the plexi Marshal with the 5000 $ price tag.
