Battery Broke/Problem?
Hello, I bought my Compaq Laptop: Windows 7 Home Premium in January from Best Buy in Orlando, Florida. My laptop has had some charger problems such as; Overheating and never working again and Cable adapter blowing out. But thankfully I got a replacment off from Amazon.co.uk and it worked perfectly for several months up until now as the adapter that plugs INTO the laptop (NOT THE WALL CHARGER) only charges it at certain angles such as the cable bending but the battery is working normally. Can this be fixed or does this call for a new charger??
I live in Great Britain!
PS.My uncle knows about machinery ect. Also sorry for my bad puctuation! Lol.
Hello Sophie ♥ Horses:
Since you are still under warranty, you could have received a new charger from Compaq since you are still under warranty. Also, since you are *still* under warranty, you can get this problem fixed by Compaq as well. Your DC jack is loose, this is the area you are referring to inside the laptop. In the US, this would cost somewhere between 50-100 dollars (I'm not sure how that translate to European money). However, since you are under warranty, this should cost you nothing. Go online and call about your warranty.
Best of luck.
