How do you create a 6-speaker audio system in a car?
Hi,
Will be getting into ICE installations soon
. Just a quick question and really I think, it's a stupid question but just like to make sure
. Is it as simple as splicing the rear speaker cables? I'd like to keep the factory 4 speakers for the car and place 6x9's into an enclosure and place it under the front 2 car seats. Also, would I need to drill through part of the dash to pass out an aux cable?
Thanks.
Will.
i don't see why..
the door speakers become "mids"
and u put 2 tweeters in the dash and maybe 2 near the back , depends on car
and the bass in the boot... 2 amps + an active crossover..
and u just have one amp for bass, one for mid/tweeters
BUT it will drain your battery, so be warned. also if you do fit it make sure u have a inline fuse very near the battery.. so it cuts out if theres any problem.. and also make sure its WELL earthed.
