Which headphones should i get?
hi, i am looking for a decent pair of over ear headphones in the price range of around $150-$200. I want them to be closed back and preferably circamaural. Right now i'm looking at the Denon-AH1100, AKG K172, sennheiser hd 380 pro, or the audio-technica ATH A700. I will be using these in my dorm room mostly to listen to music hence the closed backs, and I listen to a wide variety of music. Could anyone tell me which headphone set has the greatest overall sound quality? If anyone could tell me about their experiences with any of these headphones or give me advice about other similar headphones which might be better, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't want any Bose or Dr. Dre beats which both seem to be very popular but I don't think they are exactly the best for the money.
Grado SR80i will blow your ears away. I have them and every serious music lover will tell you that the sound from these cans is legendary.
