what program should i be using to record with my m-audio fast track ultra?
ive had the fast track ultra for a couple weeks now and ive been using audacity to record and it is horrible quality. maybe its how im hooking up the fast track or maybe its the program, i dont know. im a noob to this recording stuff so i dont really know what to ask becasue i dont know whats going wrong. i have the trial version for reaper but whenever i try recording on that i cant hear it when i try to playback what i recorded.
how i have the fast track ultra connected: my guitar is connected to my amp, then i have another cord going from my amp to the 1st mic input. then obviously the power cord and the usb.
i need help! this $350 item needs to be put to use correctly! explain please
