The Beatles complete CDs?
Is there an available CD collection of all of the Beatles recordings from their days with Vee Jay records through the Parlophone (Capitol) and then Apple years?
It depends on if you're talking about wanting all the SONGS the Beatles officially released during those years or if you mean all the ALBUMS AS ORIGINALLY RELEASED.
The albums from the Beatles had different track lineups on the American releases than the U.K. ones up until SGT. PEPPER. From then on, the albums released in U.S. and U.K. were the same. There are no "unknown/rare" tracks on the American ones that aren't on the U.K. ones...they just have different track amounts because greedy record execs made the American albums shorter, saving some tunes for the next album.
All the songs from the albums from those years have been released in the British versions on CDs. There is a box set of ALL the British CD releases (see link) but it's out of print and fetching premium prices. (As much as almost $600 for 15 CDs if you want it in "New" condition)
If your desire is simply to own all the regularly released Beatles songs on CD, you're better off buying the original 12 albums (13 CDs because THE BEATLES, A.K.A. "THE WHITE ALBUM", is a 2 CD set) plus PAST MASTERS VOLUME 1 and PAST MASTERS VOLUME 2 which collect odds and ends singles that aren't found on the British version releases. You'll save a LOT of money that way vs. the box set.
There IS a box set available that collects all the American version Beatles recordings up through YESTERDAY AND TODAY but in an age where you can burn your own CDs, it would make more sense to just buy the British versions and burn your own if you're dying to have the track listings as you remember them from when you were young. You're mostly paying extra for the packaging/album artwork with the box set.
There IS also some music pre-Vee Jay era the Beatles made in Hamburg and the so-called Decca audition material (from a failed audition for that label where the record label head decided not to sign them because "Guitar groups are on the way out...") and their early incarnation as The Quarrymen which are collected along with some other studio rarities and alternate takes on the BEATLES ANTHOLOGY 1, 2, and 3 double CDs.
