What makes the "white album" from the beatles so great?
I am a huge Beatles fan. I was born in the early 80's but have been listening to them on records, tapes and cd all of my life. While the white album is not my favorite i consider it to be a masterpiece. A lot fo people have told me they dislike because its disjointed. I think that is the reason why i love it so much. Its the craziness that intriques me. What do you think??
The White Album is one of their best albums because of the wealth of great material. It's got two discs and many of the Beatles' most celebrated songs on it. I do think that they could've gotten away with releasing it as a single album instead and cutting out the weaker half of the songs, especially "Revolution #9," the most worthless thing they recorded...
