Behringer Mixer Questions!?
I am planning on purchasing this

For a mini-home studio for my band/myself to record with. I don't really need anything fancy, just something to let my directly connect guitar and vocals to my computer.
I have a Macbook Pro with one of those stereo outputs or whatever(it looks just like a headphone jack) and plan on recording with Garageband. Will my Garageband, or my Mac, recognize the drivers and allow me to record?
Also, will this mixer allow me to directly connect my guitar to it so I can directly send it to the computer?
I've been a musician for years but I am completely new to the basics of semi-advanced recording.
Monstaro - That is a great little mixer and it should work well. There is one part missing though - you really should consider getting a USB audio interface. The interface will have professional input and output connectors that will make it easy to connect to the mixer and the computer. This is the one I have and it works great (mac compatible too):

The final hookup would be:
mics and instruments plug into mixer inputs
mixer RCA tape outputs connect to interface inputs
interface connects to computer via USB
The sound is great and will be much better than any computer audio input.
