is there anyway i could get someone dear to me to meet bob dylan backstage without buying 600$ tickets? :[?
my step dad has been his devoted fan and has even gone hungry before just to be able to pay for good tickets to see him in NY...he brought my mamma and i from a turbulent south american country to be his family without knowing that much about us...and now i want to be able to give him something back. he's even been helping me pay for college although he has no obligation to do so and its set him back quite a lot so this would really be great...
If you absolutely can't afford to buy the tickets, then your only hope is to get in contact with someone who would be able to help you.
Try writing to Bob Dylan himself, his agent, his management. Write to the places where he holds his concerts, to newspapers and radio stations that might be able to get tickets. Explain to them what you did here -- how big a fan your stepfather is, and how much he's done for the people he loves.
A lot of radio stations and TV shows will also hold competitions for tickets, so keep an eye out and enter any of those that you can.
