How should I store the breast milk if I am planning on doing this?
I am planning on buying some Playtex Drop-in bottles. They have a gift set for less than $20 and I think these would be good bottles to start out with for what I want to use them for. I don't want to go crazy and buy a ton of bottles in case my baby doesn't like them. I want to use them occasionally once I have breastfeeding well established. I will be using the Medela Pump in Style pump.
What's the best way to store breast milk if I want to use the Playtex Drop-ins? Is it best to pump into the Medela bottles and use those for storage and then drop the milk in the liners for the Playtex bottles or would it be better to buy some milk storage bags that can be used with the Playtex Drop-ins? The Gerber storage bags say they are compatible with all drop-in bottle types. Do you know if the Lansinoh ones are compatible with the Playtex Drop-ins? If I used the bags would I pump and dump into the bags and then use them in the Playtex bottles?
I need some advice on this.
Thank you!
Playtex also has an adapter kit to pump right into the bottles or into a liner. It is pretty neat, and what I use.
