Why can't flash drives or SD cards replace CD's & DVD's like they replace VHS & cassette tapes. ?
Before CD's & DVD's disc, we used cassette tapes for music & VHS tapes for movies and videos. What I'm saying is why can't the world start replacing "disc" all together with SD cards & flash drives as storage for movies and music and start sellin them in stores. INSTEAD OF AN ALBUM OR MOVIE BEING ON A CD OR DVD "DISC", WHY CAN'T IT CAN BE SOLD ON AN SD CARD OR FLASH DRIVE?
To play them you can have a usb player wih a usb port or SD card insert on it or on your boombox, in your car, etc. The usb player or SD player would look like a DVD player but much smaller and on a dvd player instead of were you insert the disc in the front, you put your flash drive in or you put the SD card in and you play the movie or album!!!
I hope sds replaces dvds soon, They just need to make them have bigger capacities and to have better anti pirating techology. I am so sick of renting DVDs which are scratched and unplayable or having to lose a chapter because of it.
