The first set up is better, is only like 60 more dollars and you get more equipment. Plus you get to boost the AKG to a 200. The AKG is an amazing microphone. You can save money by just downloading Fruity Loops. I doubt it's legal, but really people have the serial codes all over online. It will save you $100.00. The 1st is a pretty nice set up, and if you're willing to spend a few more, you will get lots more than the second set up.
