best condenser microphone for recording vocals?
keep under 350 dollars...and also i need to do it on my computer..so what equipment do i need?
Depends GREATLY on the quality of your recording board, deck, medium, and what you ultimately will DO with the recording... demo? personal? CD production?
No point buying a Sennheiser if you're recording on a HP notebook!
Sennheiser, I think is a recognized leader, but you'll pay for it!
I prefer Shure Unidyne III uni-directional-all around excellence, proven track record.
Check mic-product frequency response specs before buying. 15-50,000 is standard...
What equipment do you need? Again, see first sentence... Might try a "vanity" studio first, to see if you even like the sound of your voice. Inexpensive multi-trackers have more features, self contained, easy multi-tracking, burn CD's etc. Music123, MusiciansFriend
Good Luck!
