How do I get 5.1 audio running from my Xbox 360?
I just bought some new 5.1 speakers (logitech x-530). The only standard input is via 3 male 3.5mm jacks. I was wondering, how can I get true 5.1 running on these beasts from my xbox? I noticed the xbox's AV cable has optical on it, but is it possible to convert this optical signal to my pretty basic speakers while still retaining true 5.1 audio? Or is there another way?
