Which Shure microphone should I purchase?
Hey! So I sing with this group at shows and two of the girls already have Shure mic's (im not sure which ones).
Basically, theres a guy in the group too and we both immensely despise the guy we sing for so.... were going to go around with our duet demo CD and get our own gigs... problem is we dont have any microphones or a sound system. Were also clueless to technology lol... So which mic should we purchase? (preferably cordless because we do a lot of audience interraction) and Do we really need a system? (for about a 200 person audience)

Ohh and we cant ask our "manager" guy because we dont want him to know were breaking away from him...
Shure SM58s are great and probably the most widely used vocal mics for performances.
