Mickey Mouse and Creedence Clearwater Revival Halloween Video?
I remember these videos from when I was really little where they would take the old black & white Mickey Mouse cartoons and pair them with modern rock songs. The one I remember in particular was Creedence Clearwater Revival's Bad Moon on the Rise. Anyone know what I'm talking about? This had to be a least 10 years ago...
I remember those. Back in the 1980s and 1990s the Disney Channel (back when it wasn't the "Hannah Montana/High School Musical/Jonas Brothers Channel") had a feature called "DTV" (short for Disney Television, and sort of a parody of MTV) that consisted of music videos made of snippets of the classic Disney shorts set to the tune of classic hits. I don't remember "Bad Moon Rising" (correct title of the song), but I do remember "Heart of Rock and Roll" by Huey Lewis and the News and "Listen To The Music" by the Doobie Brothers. Disney Channel ceased production and airing in 1999.
Unfortunately, due to music licensing rights, I don't think they're ever going to be re-aired, nor will they be released to DVD.
