where can i get a free copy of Debussy's CLAIRE DE LUNE for VIOLIN?
i saw this clip in youtube where DAVID OISTRAKH plays claire de lune and i wondered where can i get a copy of that piece with that specific arrangement. can anyone help me please????
"Claire de Lune" was originally part of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque: composed for solo piano so it may be difficult to find the exact arrangement that Oistrakh used in that YouTube clip. However, you can get something very close at the Free Scores link below. This arrangement is for flute and piano, but the violin and flute share much the same range.
I also included a link for inexpensive arrangements for violin and piano, although I don't think this is the exact arrangement Oistrakh used either. The last link is for a collection of encores that includes Claire de Lune.
