How can I get the best spoken word recordings with a Logitech USB desktop microphone and Adobe Audition 3.0?
I've tried recording several different ways, and it just doesn't sound like a professional audio book recording. For anyone who's used this mic, what seems to be the best distance and angle from your mouth, how loud do you usually talk? What are some common tweaks I can do in Audition once I've recorded to get it sounding professional? Also, what are typical specs to set audio levels at for an audio book or podcast so it's not too loud or quiet?
You wont get professional sound out of ANY pc mic. You would need a mixer card for your pc and they aint cheep
