Can you use a microphone cable instead of a dmx cable?
I have 4 Intimidator 1.2 scanners that I want to use in my schools auditorium we have mic inputs down on stage. I was wondering if I can plug the master light into the mic input down on stage and un hook the cord from the sound board and plug it into the controller. Do you think this will work? I hope so because i'm counting on it.
It should work fine. The only problem you might run into is the length of the mic cables, since they are hardwired into the theater.... you may lose integrity between your controller and the scanners.
