Why do chicanos try to align aspects of black american culture with "chicano" culture?
For example old soul motown/doo wop oldies?
I was on youtube looking at old motown videos and the majority of videos had all of this chicano art to the music titled "lowrider oldies".
It's what chicanos use to listen to in their lowriders.
All that music was popular at the time, when the lowrider was popular in California. Music is music who cares about the race that makes it.
