To be honest, I don't really like any cover bands, but from what I read, both bands are pretty good.
If forced to choose, it would probably be The Soft Parade. I live on the east coast and have heard of concerts performed by The Soft Parade. However, I have never heard about Wild Child playing in the area. In addition to that, it seems that whenever there are reviews online they are based on the west coast.
That is not to say that one band is better than the other, but it can be important if people want to see live shows but cannot because they are on the other side of the country.
