DVD Wallets allowed on Flight?
Hi, I am moving to India in June.
I have been collecting Indian movies for the past 8 years.
Most of them are originals dvds and some of them are copied DVD5's that I have copied from friends.
I am finally moving back to India and I have recently bought the following to hold all my discs:

My question is, the security wont stop me for carrying so many discs right?
and do you recommend placing them in my check-in baggage or hand baggage.
Btw, I am travailing from LAX airport in Los Angeles
There is no reason that would not be allowed as carry on. What is dangerous about them? I'm sure that many will be heavy, so the worst thing you could do is to bash someone over the head with it - but the same could be said about a laptop in a laptop bag.
If you can put it inside something else that you are carrying on, then it won't count toward a carry on bag allowance. If you carry it separately, then it is small enough that it would probably count at the personal item that most airlines permit.
In fact, I would not put that in checked luggage. The possibility of theft or damage is too high.
