Best 10" bass/sub driver for PA Rig?
Recently purchased a pair of bass cabinets off ebay, they are twin 10" A.S.S cabinets that currently have Eminence Gamma 10" drivers in. However I was slightly dissapointed with their performance, I know that 10" isnt ideal for a PA bass bin, but even so. They don't appear to be able to handle much power and dont respond well to the low, low frequencies. Would anyone else be able to suggest some better drivers to save starting from scratch with different cabinets etc? The eminence kappa pro looks interesting, but looks like its fairly similiar to the gamma driver? Any comments greatly appreciated.
PA bass drivers usually start with at least two 12 inch drivers - two 15 inch drivers is even better.
Remember that the sub will need some type of crossover either internal or external.
