i can't see where to connect audio riser card?
where do these usually plug in. it doesn't hook into agp, pci etc. it's a riser card with a cable coming out of the top. i thought it would plug into the motherboard but i dont see where to plug it in. it is a female connector with 8 holes.
documentation of this computer. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph05394&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=57628%E2%8C%A9=en
has no onboard audio. this card came with this MBoard
there is no 8 pin connector. this is driving me nuts. would it plug into the graphics card? i don't know...
An audio/modem riser card will usually snap into a brown connector. This connector is about an inch long and either at the bottom of the motherboard, or just above the white PCI slots..
