How to clone female plants?
I've heard that to do that, you need to have a female plant, how can i tell if my plant is female? the plant i have in mind is an apple tree (pretty small right now). Is there a tell tale sign of difference between male and females? And from what i read, i just clip a small branch off at an angle, and put it in a pot of soil? is that correct?
Best way to clone a plant is to use a system normally used for cloning weed and that is Hydroponics there is a solution really just a feeder that helps the cutting to grow new roots. It's usually a rooting gel or a small box (looks like the chalk used for a pool table) that you stick the cutting in and it grows roots. I have used the gel in the past only takes about two weeks to see strong roots form in the bottom and the best part is you don't have to water the gel does it all. Also, you can plant the cutting with the gel still on it, completely organic and safe to use.
