Hey! I work at Stone Mountain and yes they always do fireworks. its not a lot but a few here and there. It is fun and free! I recommend getting there early and grabbing a good space on the laser lawn. Many people bring Frisbees and stuff.

The Traffic shouldn't be very bad. If you are coming out of the crossroads parking lot at the 4 way stop you can go straight and get directly on 78 going out of the old north gate. It doesn't show up on any of the maps but it is the best way to get out of the park.
