Can a car dealership make you buy an extended warranty?
ok i just bought a new car i have no credit (im 19) i was approved for a loan in my name with out a co signer with 7% interest from a repitable dealership (balise) now the bank would give me the full amount for the car in my loan so they dropped the price of the car to fit into the banks budget and i got the car for 2 grand less but that they will only sell me the car at this price if i buy a 2 grand extended warrenty (financed through a separate bank) now im gettin a 2006 car with 50k miles for only 3800 (was 6000) can i go back and now cancell my extended warrenty and stillkeep the car?
the bank would NOT loan me the full amount and so the car dealer ship lowered the price of the car but had me buy a warranty that was worth the difference
Nobody can make you buy an extended warranty. It's not likely that the dealership will refund the money. That's how they "Pad" their profits on car sales.
