Where can I adopt a siamese cat in Northern California?
I don't have alot of money to spend, In fact I would prefer to adopt one an older one instead of paying hundreds for a kitten. Our cat recently passed and we all agreed years ago that when our cat passed, we'd get a new member, not a replacement and it be a Siamese, preferably a seal or chocolate point. Does anyone know anyone in Northern California who has one for adoption? If you could give me their email, that would be great. I don't want to have to pay alot, just a small adoption fee. I've tried craigslist, have contacted a few people and when our local shelter opens my daughter and I are going to go take a look, but just in case, would like other options as well.
Thank you, the cat will be indoor, since our cat was recently hit by a car, and will be with other older and friendly cats. Preferably litter trained and fixed, but if not and as long as its tame, will do.
Your best bet it to look for a breeder in the area. Breeders normally cover all the bases e.i. fixing, shots, litter training, etc. The sad thing is they are going to be pricing and finding one in a shelter will be very hard. Being that others are looking for pure breeds in shelters also to save money. Best of luck!!!!
