How to convince my parents to get me my own laptop?
Currently I share the older MacBook with my dad. Hanukkah starts Dec. 21st, My Birthday is March 5th, and My Bat Mitzvah is March 28th. Right now we are a half mac/half pc family. I mostly enjoy the Macs because they block popups, the camera, the speed, etc. I am 12, going on 13. So many kids in my grade have there own laptops. I am fine with sharing one with my dad but how can I try to convince my parents to get me my own. All the time my dad and I joke that we'll get a MacBook Pro (the new one), he'll take the pro, and I'll take the MacBook. I think thats a good idea. I have lately been asking what my parents are getting me for Hanukkah. they say, "well what do you want?" and I always say NEW MACBOOK!! My mom says "well you already know thats not happening." I am a master of persuasion but this is one thing I can't seem to get quite right. Can anyone help???? PLEASE AND THANKS!!
Why don't you ask your parents to get you a laptop for your middle school graduation/entry into high school? Laptops are great for school work, and you can try to convince them that you'll work even harder on your homework if you can have your own personal computer. Good luck.
