How we really use a Hard Disk Recorder?
When someone need to record something, he uses for example a camcorder, which contains a tape or at least a professional disc. What about the Hard Disk Recorder which offers a huge capacity of storage, more than tapes. In what moment we use a Hard Disk Recorder?
I didn't get when we really need it??
Thanks
Both the tape and the disk are storage media.
Some real time surveillance cameras save their videos on hard drives.
Once they are full they erase the oldest video and use that space for the new one.
A 5 camera grid at 15 frames/sec can keep them vidoes for 15 days on a 200GB drive.
If you want more buy a larger capacity drive.
