(indie/alternative) music discussion board...?
i'm massively into music and love talking about it/finding new artists. i don't really have any friends that have even a remotely similar taste in music to me though..so i've resorted to looking around for online forums for the bands i like. haven't had all the much luck of late..but was wondering if anyone out there knows of any popular forums/discussion boards for alternative/indie music fans..?
my favourite artists: radiohead, animal collective, arcade fire, sigur ros, tv on the radio..
yer i come from a similar position to you, there arent many forums concentrating specifically on this sort of music as generally they are much broader and everyone just ends up talking about metal and that sort of stuff.
Your best bet is to focus specifically on one band and generally they will have an easy to find forum, for example, foals have an easilly accesible discussion board.
Hope you find what your looking for, ooh and go do by jonsi (the guy from sigur ros) is an absolute tune so if you havent heard it yet i suggest you check it out.
