My washing machine has a LED display. Although this still displays the machine will not turn on when pressed?
When I press power the LED lights up as if it is working but when I press the knob for engaging the washing cycle it will not start. The washing machine is a LG front load model about 4 years old.
Make sure that door is really firmly closed. If the microswitch attached to the door lock is not activated the washing cycle will not start.
