Looking for a comfortable running/walking shoe?

Well spring is coming around again and that means I'm going back to my daily running routine and usually a lot of walking around (Theme parks, chilling with friends, just for the sake of it, etc.). Last year I had to make do with a sub-par pair of tennis shoes from my local Wal-Mart with gel insoles that didn't quite give me the comfort I was hoping for.

This year I'm looking to invest in a decent quality shoe to provide my feet with the most comfort I can give them. I've been asking around and I've heard a lot of good things about Vibram FiveFinger footwear (Specifically this shoe: http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/products/products_KSO_m.cfm)

I would just like to know if anyone has had a pair of these and if they are a good pair of shoes to go with? I would mainly be using them for running and light walking, as well as wearing them as an alternative to going barefoot at water parks. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

been running myself a little while now and honestly I have never heard of the brand you are talking about. Your best basic running/walking all around shoe would be go with an Asics one. good luck : )
