Lavaliere Wireless Mic Help?
I'm filming my friend's wedding and but I've never used a wireless lavaliere microphone.
I have the following equipment:
Beachtek DX-6A adapter
AKG B29L Phantom Power Supply/ Bodypack Transmitter
AKG CK 55 Mic
I can get audio when using a cable from the bodypack transmitter to adapter, but not sure how to make it wireless.
What equipment do I need? Is the Beachtek adapter capable of receiving wireless signals, or does the bodypack transmitter send out a wireless connection?
Thank you for your help, i've never done anything like this before.
I usually get the groom to put in his inside pocket a Sony ICD-UX5 recorder , (all tux's have one) an then a mic hidden just below the corresponding jacket opening , keep in mind these are all good unless you are out in the wind , in which case you will have to use a h2 or h4n zoom mic close by with a red head covering the top of the mic to stop wind interference. the wireless signal , I tried it , and there is always slight fuzz or interference when the groom turns around to pick things up (plus more stuff and batteries means more things to go wrong)
simple non bulky small recorder , and then line the audio tracks up in your editing program
