whats a mixer?
ok im a guitarist that been playin for a bit and im fairly young and in a band.im thinkin about buyin a mixer. now if thats what i think it is it takes in like guitars and mics and makes a single output to put in an amp that has only one input. for example like i want to plug in an amp and guitar in my amp but i only have one input so i get an mixer and put in my mic and guitar in line 1 and then i use the output ( which is only 1 output for two instruments ) to go to my 1 input in my amp. is this how the mixer works?? if not then please describe how it does work. thanx ^_^
