How do you set up audio w a mixing console?

Where would I plug in a microphone and one speaker? ... I just want to create sound please help!!

The mic will plug into the mic input using a XLR mic cable.

The speakers cannot connect directly to the console because that console does not have a built in amp for speakers. You need to connect the output of the console to the input of a power amp and the output of the power amp will connect to the speakers.
