Phantom power microphone?
I have plugged my mic straight into my computer and it's a xlr to usb cable.
the computer reads the cable but the condenser mic dose not come on. how to i turn on phantom power, on my computer so i can turn on my mic?
Your computer can't supply phantom power to your mic. Sorry.
Get an external audio interface that has phantom power as an option, but as far as I know, there is no way to draw that power from your computer. There are battery packs that are made to give you phantom power too if interfacing isn't another option.
