How to record using a handheld mic on my laptop?
I have a Audix OM3 microphone with an XLR3 cable ( to plug into a PA system). I want to use it to record through my laptop which only has a microphone jack (small, the size of the headphone hack). What sort of connections/converters/cable do i need to get to allow me to do this??

In your laptop check if there is a jack for head phones.Usually nearby there will a jack for the microphone ( it ll be black or red in color) which is the same size as that of a headphone jack .It should be there somewhere around the laptop.Every laptop has a microphone jack so your must be some where around the laptop!
