something i wrote what do you think?
old and battered
torn and tattered
i now sail
to blackmail
read from within
white man sin
blue to purple
makes a full circle
to bear the chains
of the peoples pains
hear the cries
truth not lies
tied up to a money pole
lies and deception in my soul
a new start asking so much
being carried with a crutch
till the northern star
meets the southern sun
i wont find peace
let us become one
never read dickens.just started writing. thank you though.
Tried and true
black and blue
the old way is best
f**k all the rest
man behind the curtain
white man's burden
same old same old
day old bread mold
bear the chains
I forged in life
Charles Dickens
takes a wife
constant as the northern star
cliches can take you very far
rust never sleeps nor rests
borrowed words are apparently best.
