Fingerprint scanner issues?
a few years ago i bought a fingerprint scanner from fry's for my computer never used it. found it the other day while going through some old stuff and i thought "hey i just saw the driver disk for this still in its original sleeve!" so i pop in the disk and plug in the USB (swipe not press) fingerprint scanner. the installation pops up and all goes well until it wants the serial key. its right there on the envelope, so i type it in and it tells me invalid key. actually the first attempt i did have one character wrong but i still got the error after correcting the key. i restarted the installer and still am getting an error for this product key!
the software is from some Chinese company EgisTec called VITAKEY.
i dont think so, like i said its off of the cd so i doubt the software is checking online. and it was about a year and a half a go give or take a month or two
If it was a few years a go it's likely that the serial key has expired.
And that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes
