Is this ok for going to a thrash metal concert.?
Slim straight jeans tucked in with doc marten boots with a metal band t shirt.
with mohawk/spiky hair
and maybe a blue/black denim jacket with band patches

Wear whatever you want. I wear what I always wear, which is jeans and a band shirt, usually a band that fits with the concert. And just so you know, mohawk/spiky hair isn't really metal, most "real" metalheads have long hair or just normal short hair. Not that it matters what you look like. The more you try to be someone you're not then the more you're going to stand out and the less comfortable you're going to be. People can pick up on that and will subsequently label you a poseur. Again, just be whoever you want and wear whatever you like or normally wear, something simple like jeans and a band shirt.
