Will 1992 suzuki sierra power pioneer amplifier?
Hey!
I have a 1992 Suzuki Sierra with a 55amp (stock) alt, will this be powerful enough to power
a Pioneer GM-D9500;

If not, what would be my best option at going about that? Replacing alt, new batteries etc..
Thanks in advance!
Basically a car only uses 40% of its alternator output to power all the electronics. Leavin you with 60% to have fun with. In your case that only gives you 33A to work with. That amp will pretty much max out your system. I highly recommend getting a new battery, doing the Big 3 upgrade and getting a high output alternator if you want to power anything bigger than that amp. You shouldd be okay if you run the 75wrms x 4 ch @ 4 ohms, anything bigger and you will have a lot dimming lights. Good luck!
