I have NO idea how these work. I want one for my birthday party though... Does an ipod hook into them?

If the Light you want to buy has sound to light that means any music is played will follow to the beat, and you cant connect an iPod. Also again that is not a laser. That light also is on with a smoke machine, thats how the beems of light are showing. Without a smoke machine you will not have that effect. This is a good light but you may want to get a smoke machine as well, 400 or 800w smoke machine.
