What cables would I need to use a Pyle-Pro - 5.25'' 300 Watt speaker.?
Would I need to buy a audio interface or a cable to hook to my hard drive, or a xlr cable?
No matter what your source, whether it's a CD player, phonograph, microphone, DVD player, tape deck, computer, etc, the only interface you can use for a speaker is an amplifier (or receiver, which is actually an amplifier with a built-in tuner). That's your audio interface.
Your hard drive cannot connect to a speaker nor an amplifier. Your hard drive is just a data storage device. Your computer most likely has a sound card which can translate the audio files on your hard drive, and send them to an amplifier. Most sound cards have a Line Out connector, which is a 3.5mm (⅛" or mini-phone) stereo jack.
Depending on your amp's input connectors, you'll need an adapter cable, likely a 3.5mm stereo plug to 2 (left & right mono) RCA plugs. From your amplifier to your speaker, well that depends upon the amp output connectors and speaker connectors.
