rack gear help!?
alright, i want to start building a rack and need to know if this will work or if i am missing anything vital to makeing it work.
i want a boss gt pro, then to a tuner of some sort then a power conditioner then a fan in a 6u rack case. ill put it into a marhsal combo amp so do i need a power amp and a pre amp if i run it through the combo, and what if i run it into a marshal cab then do i need them.
so i dont need a pre amp and power amp if i use a combo amp?
your rack setup should work. to connect the combo to the cab you would have to take a cable from the AUX jack or the headphone jack would work. Maybe even marshalls have a stereo output jack too. run that to the back of the cab there will be like 1or2 1/4 inch inputjacks put them there. Sounds like a nice setup.
