Rackmount computer case query?
I need to buy a new case for my computer and if I could make it rack-mountable it would be very handy indeed. Do rackmount cases exist for regular desktop PCs? Most options I find seem very industrial, and i'm not too sure if they'd suit what i'm after. Can anyone help?
Rack mounting requires a 19 inch wide rack, and most home pc's are not designed for rack mounting.
When we use racks with a standard pc case, the pc is just placed in the bottom of the cabinet.
You could buy a small rack mounted server and use it, but it may not suit your requirements.
