Is there any way to fit a molded 3.5mm phono plug to the cable of my new Sennheisser HD 25P headphones? ?
Is there any way to fit a molded 3.5mm right-angled phono plug onto the cable of my new Sennheisser HD 25P headphones which comes with a molded 6.5mm stereo plug as standard? All the shops sell cheap right- angle open end plugs which almost always come loose in a short time!
It is a sealed connector with no screw-off option to a 3.5mm!
The headphones may have a built in adapter. I didn't find HD25P headsets but I found HD25SP. The 1/4 inch (6.5 mm) plug on them will unscrew to reveal a 1/8 inch or 3.5 mm plug. This is fairly common with higher end headsets. See if this is the case with your set.
BTW, I think Sennheiser is an excellent brand.
