Tivo Series2 single tuner..... hooking it up.?
Don't tell me to read the directions or look on the site..... I get all of that. I simply have a Motorola cable box (standard Verizon, Comcast, whatever box), the Tivo, a TV that has all of the plugs and understand that one would need a splitter to watch one channel and record another.
Even when I dedicated it to just one line w. the simple setup nothing would record unless I was actually watching something. I also have the wireless adapter so I don't have to use a phone line.
Someone out there for sure could knock this out in a minute I am sure.
I understand that you have read how to set up all the connections but here is one better, check out this link from Tivo.com It shows illustrations to connect your Tivo to a cable box so that you can record one channel and watch another channel. It shows how and to what coxail lines to split the connections, where to connect the IR cable, where to run RCA Audio and Video cables.
