Hunter Digital Thermostat Installation?
I've installed my Hunter Digital Thermostat model # 44360. So far, running it on cool has worked fine, but on heater, I'm not getting any heat out of the air vents. Did I do something wrong? I have a 4-wire system. This is how I have it connected:
Red wire to RC/RH (jumped together)
Green to G
White to W/B
Yellow to Y1
and the Y/O space is left blank with no wire into it
This thermostat is designed for my electric AC system. It's definately on heat (and all the way hot) and tried the fan instead of auto. When I first started the heater, I smelled the common burning smell of dust, but then no heat either way. Could it be there's a heating element and this needs replacement? Or maybe something else?

The connections seem to be correct. is the thermostat set for heating?
Is the stat programmed for the type of furnace you have? (gas, electric, heat pump)?
