Is daisy-chaining speakers series or parallel?
Hey i was just wondering what kind of connection you get when you daisy chain speakers. Like if i plug the output of my power amp into the input of one cab, and the thru of that cab into the input of another cab, and the thru of that cab into the input of another cab, and so on, is the connection series or parallel? Im just talking about using XLR or Speakon or 1/4" cables, i understand series and parallel as it applies to banana plug and push spring type connectors. (i don't actually have any speakers or amps to use as an example, im just talking hypothetically.) Thanks a lot!
daisy-chaining is a concept im not too keen on, so any other advice or tips would be great!
Parallel.
I'm not keen on the practice either. For reliability and ease of troubleshooting, I prefer home run wiring.
